Update on Day
Well, went and had the echocardiogram. Dude.... ow. Just... ow! I found that my fourth chamber of my heart resides right where my left breast meets my rib cage, and she had to dig that little sonogram thingie inbetween them to get the image. I'm gonna have a bruise there, man. -=sniffles=-
But yeah, did that. Doc had an emergancy at the hospital so I wasn't able to get my two week checkup. I've been on BP meds for 2 weeks now. Tzao-gao! (yes, I'm learning to curse in Chinese. damn you Firefly!) But yeah, I'll go back on Monday at 5pm (and leave work early again.)
Then came home, got showered, fed and dressed and went down for my interview.
Went good! The guy who called me down was a new guy in the company, who had worked for our sister company paramount! He left in January, and got a job with this company. He now needs an assistant, and since he's heard of me, and knows what I mean when I explain my job titles and responsibilities, it was a good impression. I also got to meet the owner of the company, Allison, and here's hoping!
It was nice being able to not have to really explain why I want a new job in nice, poliet terms. The guy knew full well why I was leaving, which we laughed over. He was also amazed at the curtosy I was able to speak with when talking about the idiot boss' son.
So, after that, I have to walk down into Time Square to get back on the subway (oh, the horror! [/sarcasm]) but anyway, they put up the signs for the musical Lestat! It goes into previews at the end of the month!
Guess who has a shiney ticket for the April 1st performance from the front row of the balcony?! SQUEE!
Oh, and Splenda is really my new friend. Dude. Tzao green tea, hot with two splenda = 0 points and heaven!
