In about one month from today, I pick up a new permanent address. I'm moving a one hour and five minute plane ride south of here with less than a handful of faces I'll recognize. As soon as camp ends, I'll hopefully have a decent amount of free time to visit everyone before I leave. Fairhaven friends, school friends, camp friends, and those who fall into more than one of those categories are highly encouraged to free up some spare time to hang out.
Baltimore is a beautiful city. It's clean, small, but so full of life. And there's water. Must have water. The parents are great...so extremely Italian. They treat everyone like family, even the two Italian carpenters they have living with them for three months building their hand-laid brick pizza oven. Yeah, they're pretty well off too. My own room, study, bathroom, and a car to drive. Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself.
I'd write more but, frankly, my laptop's almost outta juice and Project Runway is starting in ten minutes. Where are 102 Van Meter and my fellow dormmates when I need them?
If I don't see you, remember that I haven't forgotten about you. And I miss you.
