Heeeeey there readers.

Wow.  These past couple of days seem to be dragging by.  I'm really just ready for it to be Christmas vacation, but you know, I guess I have to be patient.  Only 11 days until Christmas if you count today.  10 if you dont.  Yay!  I finished my Christmas shopping Monday, so that's good.  I just have to wrap everything.  I might make something else for everyone first though...not sure.  I'm making the people at my lunch table a chocolate raspberry cheesecake.  I'm pretty pumped about it, I'm sure it'll come out pretty good.  They're really excited too I hope.  :P

So, my trip to New York was interesting.  It was really long and boring getting up there.  Listened to a lot of music, and drove for a little under four hours.  Got there just fine, no getting lost, nothing too exciting happening.  It was pretty boring being there too.  I stayed for four hours.  Most of it I spent doing my homework.  My cousin and I talked for a little bit, but not too much.  We're both going to college next year, so we talked about that, complained about our classes, laughed about our teachers, then she got multiple calls on her cell phone and I just kinda chilled on the couch pretending that I wasnt bored out of my skull.  We opened presents as a family, then my sister and I left.

Ok, so, the way back was the funniest I think.  My sister was all "you're going to get lost in the first five minutes."  So of course I say "of course I'm not"  So, yeah.  I got lost in the first five minutes.  I had to get gas, so I stopped at the first gas station I saw, which was incredibly sketchy.  I was kind of looking around when I got out of my car, and filling up his car at the pump across from mine was a, dare I say it, rather attractive 20-something year old guy, and so he said "...are you by any chance lost?"  So I said yes, he asked where I was going, I said Massachusetts, and he gave me directions back to the road I was supposed to be on.  And he wished me goodluck.  Yay!  So the gas pump wasn't working, and I was kind of distracted by the guy and didn't pay enough attention to the directions, so I had to ask the guys in the gas station for help with directions/gas.  One of them was really cool...one of his eyes was kind of white-ish, cateracts (spelling?) or something...he was really nice too.  Gave me really good directions.  The other guy helped with the car situation.  When I finally got it to work, he gave me the thumbs up through the window and shouted "good luck!!!"  haha.

Then I drove for about four hours, listened to hilarious music, and got back home.

Sunday I had youth group, and got to see Zach for the first time in a long time.  I miss that guy, I really do.  It was nice to see him at youth group, even if he was just tagging along with Danny.  We had a scavanger hunt/christmas shopping at the mall thing, so we wandered around the mall for a while, and I got most of my Christmas shopping done.  Yay!

This week I've just been trying to get through.  Today wasn't too bad, especially after school.  Lucy gave my friends and I early Christmas gifts...it was wicked sweet!  A wicked soft teddy bear from Bath and Body Works and a gift card.  Then Kate and I went to go ask Mrs. K about some calculus problems since we have a test tomorrow.  Well, she wasn't in, so we asked Mr. Mitchell.  He helped for a bit, then had to go, but let us keep using his white board.  It was hilarious to say the least.  I really can't believe how tired/goofy Kate and I were acting.  We'd do a calculus problem, laugh hysterically that we hadn't gotten it before, played with the eraser that didn't work, laughed some more, and left.

Oh!  I'm going to be getting a tattoo!!!  Yay!!!  It probably won't be any time very soon, but I'll be getting it by the latest a little after my birthday as long as I have money.  It I'm lucky though, I'll have enough money before then, and my mom and I will be able to find a place that will give a tattoo to a 17 year old as long as they have their parent with them.  I'm thinking of getting it on the back of my neck...nothing too big, black, maybe an alpha/omega symbol.  I found a picture of one that I really like that someone else had...It's an Alpha and an Omega kind of attached, with IXOYE (Ichthys, the greek word for fish, and an acrostic for greek words describing God) or maybe with Yahweh in ancient hebrew.  I'm not entirely sure, but I'm sure I'll have it figured out pretty soon, haha.  I'm really excited!!!  Plus it'll be in a good place, because if I really need to cover it, I could always grow my hair out a bit, and, tada!  You dont see the tattoo!  I'll keep it out in the open for a while though, I'm definitely gonna love it!   Anyone want to come with me when I get it? :P

So, that's all that's been going on.  Now just to hold out until Christmas...

Out.
