yesterday night i was struck with a very crafty idea that will help me save money this summer:
i'm going to start making my own iron-on t-shirts.
i'll find the cheapest place to order soft-cotton tees, and print off designs on hp transfer paper. 12 sheets costs about $15...so this might turn out to be a good deal. part of me feels that the idea of iron-on shirts is on the same level as flashy bell bottoms and bad 70's hair, but i'm sure no one will be able to distinguish an iron-on tee from any other.
there's a site called customink.com that actually does the entire process for you, but they make you create/buy at least 6 shirts at a time and i'm not really ready for that many just yet.

today may have been the most stressful day i've ever had at work. i have about a month left before i give my talk at a seminar, and it seems like i'm not going to get adequate data from this study. i'm hoping this won't ultimately be the case, but right now i'm bummin'.
