for lack of anything better to do...
at work @ the moment, working til midnight on this lovely saturday. been up to much of the same lately, a few new things going on though...
(1) classes have been going well, some better than others, but that's reasonable. ive been pretty busy with all my school crap lately, but ive managed to find time for a few other new things
(2) so alison decided last sunday that she was going to go to sorority rush! yea, thats what i said, sOrOriTy! now, i know what youre thinking, but stop, and let me clarify... Marist College sorority life is NOTHING like that MTv crap they had on. the process is so much different (so much better) and the girls arent snobbish. i had 3 nights of rush (which theyve been calling 'new member period' because rush implies all that cliche' sorority hazing stuff) so we basically learned about the 4 organizations and met the girls... and then i had the first 2/4 pref parties today for kkg and tri-sig. kappa kappa gamma is my top choice, so i was happy to go to that one. anywho, im not going to the kappa lamda psi one tomorrow, but i will go to alpa sigma tau. the whole process finishes up next wednesday night and im really excited. ill keep you updated.
(3) i like that ive been keeping in better touch with my LI friends. everyone is doing well it seems, which is always good. all the friends here are good, and ive made a few new ones recently... one of the most mentionable ones being dave... we met last saturday through ash and marlo and we've been talking a lot recently and went to hatters last night with the girls. he's awesome to hang out with and i really had a great time last night. hmmm :-D
well, i need to go start closing up shop, but ill update soon enough
