SPYCsoccer: OoOoOo... i like skanks
so ive tried to update unsuccessfully a few times this week, but i keep x-ing it by accident or some other stupid thing happens to it... lets try this one more time: i cant possibly recap everyday cuz i wont remember, so im gonna rattle off some randomness... probably gonna be another lengthy entry!
election 2004 - (disclaimer- dont read if u kno its going to get you angry! my journal, my opinion, and im entitled to it) point blank, i voted for john kerry... my first time voting in a presidential election and i was very hurt when my candidate lost to the moronic little twit. our country is so full of these f*cking southern "good christians" who imagine themselves conservative... but also, statistically and in general, have lower IQs and incomes than those who voted for Kerry... i guess that whole 'stupid is as stupid does' thing really does apply in this case... sorry, im passionate about politics and i just really hate everything bush stands for, but thats just my opinion... so since we've fucked ourselves over for the next four years, i hope all of you who voted for the ass-muffin are content with the limitations of women's rights over her own body when they ban abortion, and the banning of gay marriage, and the banning of stem cell research, because its going to be a huge issue when bush puts all of his conservative justices into the Supreme Court... yea, way to jepoardize the rights guaranteed to us by our constitution bitch! ok, im done now
2 weekends ago - HALLOWEEN: spent friday night drinking in Quigs' room with the guys and watching EuroTrip... Red Bull and Vodka = God... just dont run down the hallways after you drink it... lol... "ali, ive been in your pants all night" oh goodness val... that saturday was the costume parties @ all the bars... went to RedBar and gave up after an hour wait on line... then went to the LOFT where you can always find a good time... table dancing was the theme of the night haha, yea marissa and kristen! sunday we had our leo hall RSC halloween party. always a good time when chris strips to spandex and does 'party boy' and when jp and mike dress up in womens clothing... oh gosh! see my pics for a visual!
last weekend: friday, we went to see the guys ice hockey team play @ the hudson civic center... crazy game, lots of fights and injuries, but ive seen better hockey played before... dom did a good job tho! his first week on the team and he's already got decent play time... wooo dom!
saturday: jen came to visit... we hung out, went to eckerd, had some lovely dinner in the cafeteria, and spent a lot of down time hanging in frank and chris' room because they got their new fouton! woop woop! went to applebees later on in the night... the guys ordered drinks with their IDs but we just chilled with some appetizers and watched gino spill an entire glass of ice water on his crotch: "i feel like i just got a blow job from a fucking eskimo" lmao, good laugh outta that one. came back and got perdyyy, then went to the LOFT to show jen what saturday in poughkeepsie is really all about... met up with ashlei and marlo and their friends from SUNY Maritime that were visiting... o0o0o sidebar, nat chalked mine and her IDs so i got a bracelet because the chalk was frikken awesome... so, i drank, a lot... kamikaze, sips of everyones amaretto sours and a few beers, plus the vodka from before i left... yea, i was a mess... hung out with ashlei's friend matt, spent the evening in ashleis room in champagnat with her pat and matt... yea, it was a good time, some good drunken laughs
sunday: got back to leo around 1130, brunch, then eckerd again, before saying goodbye to jen! spent most of the day down in the boy's room again, just doing a whole lot of nothing. speaking of which, frank owes me a massage... i need to get on that lol
this week has been the week from hell... my dance show is this weekend and we've had night rehearsals... monday and tuesday was 9:30pm-12:30ish... tonight was my first night off, and then tomorrow and friday are crazy rehearsals again and then the show on saturday and sunday... along with all these damn research papers and tests being crammed into the end of the semester! oh yea, wonderful
TONIGHT: went with val to The Chance theater to see Matchbook Romance, Midtown, Hidden in Plain View, and The Academy Is.... The Chance is actually part of the LOFT and it was cool because i didnt kno there was a GORGEOUS theater attached to our usually raunchy hangout... it was neat... lol... we wound up going in a cab with kevin and anthony and standing on line with them... i got in trouble for having my camera cuz security are nuts, so kevin took the liberty of hiding it in his pants... yay kevin! haha, it worked! The Academy Is and Hidden in Plain View were REALLY good and we actually met the guitarist before the show and he was BEAUTIFUL! lol val and i were in the pit for most of those two, then moved to the first tier above the pit where we had a pretty awesome view... Midtown was okay, i like their music, but they seemed like a**holes personally... "Give It Up" was AWESOME live! thennn MATCHBOOK ROMANCE came on... they were SOOO GREAT! they seem like such cool guys too, and since theyre from the area the crowd was nuts and you could tell they were so psyched to be there... it was great! they played all of my favorites... "tigerlilly" "my eyes burn" "promise" "playing for keeps" "the greatest fall of all time" it was so good!!!
my only class tomorrow was cancelled... woo woo! SLEEPING ALL DAY! then studying for my psych test, heading to the gym hopefully too! im gonna hit the hay... haha click for some randomness for you:
