So...it's been awhile...

Ok...so my last update was...umm...March...which wasn't a real update...just a surveyish thing. So I've been leaving you all out of my life since November. So much has gone on! Well, I started dating a guy at the end of November, Mike, and we have since fallen in love and moved in together. I'm not one to bathe everyone is my mushy love story so I'll leave it at that. We actually met for the first time at Purdue a couple of years ago and through a mutual friend started hanging out in November and now here we are. I would marry him tomorrow if it weren't for the fact that I think the thought of marriage right now might send him into cardiac arrest. He got me a dog for Christmas and his name is Hank. I love him SO much...he's a complete momma's boy! He's about 9 months old now and he's a hound/lab mix. I'll try and get some pics of him...and mike...on my myspace soon. We moved into a townhouse in Carmel and so far so good. We haven't really had any major fights but we've only been here for about 3wks so I'm sure they are soon to come. It's animal kingdom living in our apt. We have 2 dogs a cat a bird and a fish tank. He's been out of town all week and I feel like the zookeeper having to feed them all. He's been out of town for training for Allstate. He opens his own agency June 1st. So if any of you need insurance I've got your man. I got accepted into the school of nursing at IUPUI and will hopefully be starting classes in the fall. Being in the real world for a while and working retail and HATING it made me realize how much I want to finish school and work as a nurse. If I'm gonna work my ass off I figure I should at least like my job. Last week I turned 24. Next year my car insurance will go down...that's about all I've got left to look forward to with birthdays. However, this was quite a birthday!!! Thursday night 2 of my best friends, Laura and Audra threw me a surprise bday party. That in itself is quite an adventure since I'm SO nosy I nearly found out 4 or 5 times. There were about 10 of my friends there and there was food and alcohol and I was excited for a night of hanging out...little did I know they had plans for other things to be hanging out. About an hour after I got there a certain PHHS class of 99 grad came in dressed as a cowboy and proceeded to take his clothes off for me! HOLY SHIT! I loved every minute of it...and he didn't seem to disturbed by the fact that he was stripping for several people he went to school with. After he left we went to my favorite watering hole...wertz's. I don't remember much after getting there because Audra made it a point to get EVERYONE in the bar to buy me a birthday drink/shot. 4 shots and 4 crown/cokes later I ended up passed out on laura's bed the morning of my birthday. Friday night Mike took me to Eddie Merlot's and then we rented some movies and came home to brave the weather. Eddie Merlot's was SO good. Everyone who helped us that night wished me a Happy bday even the valet guy when we got there. Excellent customer service. The food was amazing so Mike and I decided that will be our special occasion restaurant....it's a little pricey! Now I am trying to finish painting and decorating the apt before he gets home so I better get back to work! Hope everyone is doing well~
