On this and that...
Thanksgiving
It was a huge success. I made the usual fare: turkey, stuffing, all the fixins - but this year added in seafood - as appetizers and main and I enjoyed myself seeing as Im not really a fan of the bird. Also, I'll have to add here - I make THE juiciest turkey hands down - seasoned Puerto Rican style, it filled the house with this amazing scent. The following day, Chris and his brother Jonathan were seen eating leftovers as sandwiches "Only on potato buns!!" - Jonathan, that skinny kid at SIX alone. LOLOL
School
School is almost over for the semester and man, am I ready for a break. It is both exciting AND kicking my ass in, Im tired and overstressed because I have so many things to be working on. I've been throwing the idea around that I might take this semester off, and go back in September ONLY because the wedding is in about 5 months, and that's just a lot for me. A lot of work, and stress and wtf?
The Wedding
Man, is it getting exciting!! Getting close, and everyone is talking about booking hotels, flights - etc. I think we might have a nice amount of people attending (though, Id be happy if I had 20. I want to keep it simple!)- its going to be amazing to have a large group of people in Mexico there for just us. Good times.
The bulk of the planning is done - invites are going to have to go out in a little under 2 months (exciting!) and all the loose ends need to be tied up, we are just beside ourselves with excitement.
I have NEVER once been so sure of wanting to be with one person for the rest of my life. Not to negate anything I've had before, but quite honestly - this was right from day one. There are so many amazing things to come - I cant wait!
