First day in the shop! Next week is still our Grand Opening with the dancers and chair massages and 20% sale. This was our stealth trial day, and since Sarah (the girl) is onstage tonight at the Bryant Lake Bowl, I closed up. And I'm not totally sure I put all the right numbers in the right places for the end reports. But overall, with drop in and walkby traffic, it was a success. Frankly, there's plenty of room for some local art consignment. We have a few orders outstanding right now, but it'll still be spacious.
lio came by and helped me hang some lights and a security mirror because he's like that. Various of our other friends have stopped by and helped out and such in the past few days... thank you, jbru, hunnythistle, 433 & sithlet, vorrant, adividedbyb, and special big thanks to my brother and to ferrousoxide who have been well above and beyond.
Which reminds me. I should probably figure out where bitwise lives and see if I can offer to help move tomorrow before noon, because that's when we open tomorrow. evidently that was also today. regrets. :(
Also, Sarah's mommy came by and brought us snacks, and our landlord came by with his family and brought us flowers! That was awesome.
