I'm so mad at TV shows right now. They force me to love them, and what do they do? They abuse my love by ending their seasons by ...maybe killing characters i love. EVIL! So much evil!!
Dont read on if you watch Lost or Grey's Anatomy and you are not fully 100% caught up, because there be spoilers beyond this point.
So prior to watching Lost i was fully aware a major-ish character was going to die, and from what i heard, it was more 'major' than 'ish.' This death would be equivalent to Charlie's death. Painful, searing, and angering, but necessary. And yet, watching the show, there are three possibilities for who could have died, and i have to wait 9 God-awful months in order to find out. It could be Sayid, who was shot, and last we saw barely hanging on by a thread. It could be Juliet who in very very last scene was bashing a rock into a plutonium canister. It could be the character we've come to know as 'John Locke' whose either deader than a doorknob (Ilana and Bram proved to Richard (Ricardus?) by rolling the body of dead Locke onto the beach) or inhabited by a scary demi-god like dude (as he totally lead the Others to the foot where Jacob resides, and then proceeded to manipulate Ben into murdering nice demi-god like dude Jacob). So who the eff died?!?!
Then on Greys, we've been told for the longest time that TR Knight was released out of his contract, and that maybe or maybe not, Katherine Heigl was also released. So, through out the whole episode tonight, we learn that George is being shipped to Iraq, but he's virtually MIA during the whole show except the very end when we learn that the roadkill patient is infact buddy George... who for some reason is dying just as we figure it out... and at the very same time Izzy totally remembers more than 5 minutes, and once Alex pops in to say he loves her, thats when she crashes. Great. Fabuloso. So our final scene is Izzy in her pretty pink dress going up the elevator and when it opens, there in his uniform is George OMalley looking ok with whats going on... but Izzy scrunches her face, and they try to resusitate her, and BOOM! There's the Greys Anatomy sign, signifying the end of the episode.
How ridiculously unfair is this!?! 5 characters potentially dead within a matter of two days!! SOOOOOOO unfair! Luckily, i'm guaranteed no grim reaper visits on The Office.
UPDATE: 5/15/09
Ok, so ONE of my shows actually made me happy. The Office rules my life. The end.
