home is where the hardest.

so many things have happened, and i have so little time to tell you all of them! i'll actually really try to keep it as short as possible.

1. i got the baker position!!

2. that baker position requires me to come in around 3-4am and leave at 11am-12pm. this means i have to (at some point) stop being an insomniac.

3. the bad thing is that Produce Guy works at night most of the time. I may have to resort to coming in at night just because he's working, so i can continue to work him over. this is still in planning stages.

4. i make $2 an hour more than before, and i get a shift differencial of $1.50 for working in the morning. I'm making somewhere around $11 an hour now. which is soooo awesome.

5. the person who is going to take over for Demon Boss and be the Bakery Team Lead is the Team Lead from Deli which is exciting because i really really like her. She's always very nice and fair. I'm very thrilled about this.

6. Remember that girl who just started working at Starbucks, and i didn't know what to call her other than Flirty Starbucks Girl #2? yeah... she quit. so no worries. if she pops up again, it'll be because she's dating Eye Candy Produce Guy, but since i pretty much never talk about him either, we will probably never hear from her anymore.

7. I really really like Washington State Starbucks Girl. She and I have gotten along a lot more in the past few months. She always is thrilled when she learns that we're working together. Today, we made silly faces at each other our entire shift. It was fun. Its also really hard NOT to get into a discussion with her over stuff... she's so easy to talk to. I felt bad because on Saturday i literally had no time to talk to her the entire shift (i was walking around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to make sure i did everything i was told to do... which was a lot) and at one point we started talking about something, but i had to stop because i needed ever precious second of time, and it really sucked because i wanted to talk to her. i dont know why you guys would care about that, so i dont really know why i typed it. oh well. Bottom Line: She and i are becoming really good friends.

8. I really thoroughly enjoyed the Emmy's this year. I really didn't understand the whole deal with getting the cast of The Sopranos up on stage for a standing ovation. That was odd. But oh well. I liked everyone who won this year. I'm so thrilled that Katherine Heigl won the Best Supporting Actress - Drama (i was so positive she would not get it... not when up against the likes of Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, or Lorraine Bracco, but i'm so happy because Izzie Stevens is my favorite Grey's character). I'm really really REALLY excited for Terry O'Quinn for winning Best Supporting Actor - Drama but i have no idea how he beat Michael Emerson for it, but still, i'm just glad it went to a Lostie. Entertainment Weekly said they'd give it to Masi Oka and while i like him and his character, i'll be damned if he was going to get the Emmy over a Lostie... and as much as i like Shatner i would've had to kill someone if he got it over a Lostie. So i'm very happy about that as well. I cannot believe James Spader won Best Lead Actor - Drama over James Gandolfini (or Hugh Laurie personally) but eh. I'm also glad that Sally Field won Best Lead Actress - Drama, but i do think Kyra Sedgwick got robbed. And whoa! who the hell thought that 30 Rock was going to win Best Comedy!?! NO ONE! that was awesome... i've watched a few episodes and i wanted to get hooked but other things (i.e. work) got in the way but the ones i watched i thought were hilarious. I was just sure that Ugly Betty was going to take it, but i'm glad 30 Rock got some love. I was very pleased that America Ferrera won Best Lead Actress - Comedy because she does deserve it. Best Supporting Actor - Comedy was a tough category for me personally... i like absolutely everyone, and wanted everyone except Jon Cryer to win it (no offense Jon, i really like you, i do). Naturally, i was pleased about Jeremy Piven winning it and hopefully next year everyone gets re-nominated and Rainn Wilson can take it then, and the the year after Kevin Dillon gets it and the after that Neil Patrick Harris. but that's just me. I was also very happy to see Jaime Pressly getting Best Supporting Actress - Comedy. Everyone always gives Jason Lee the credit for Earl, and while he does deserve a lot of the credit, My Name Is Earl would be no where without Jaime Pressly, so i was really glad the Emmy's gave her some love. Next year Jenna Fischer will take it home (no she wont, she was like Katherine Heigl to me this year... i didn't think she had a shot in hell but i was just happy to see that she was nominated).

Other Good Things: any excuse to get Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Steve Carell in the same room is a FANTASTIC excuse. Katherine Heigl is amazing even if it's telling the announcer they mispronounced her name or winning the Emmy and saying that her mom though she didn't have a shot in hell. Rainn Wilson "beating" Kanye West at a "Dont Forget The Lyrics Spoof" and Kanye jokingly saying "i always lose". Go Dwight! Steve Carell's bit when he was up at the podium announcing the award for... whatever award it was that went to The Daily Show... and having Rainn Wilson saying "oh is he dying? cause if he's dying, i'll say something nice, but if not, then i'm good." and then Krasinski came on saying "This cast is like a team, and Steve Carell is like the Dad. But sometimes dad goes and spends time with his other family in New Hampshire. or New Jersey. Or wherever he's filming his movies." and then giving this really displeased look... awesome... and then Jenna Fischer saying "i congratulated Steve on being nominated and i told him that i was also nominated he said 'For what -- Biggest Rack on Tv?'" That bit was GREAT! i'm really excited for The Office Season 4 if you couldn't tell. There were several other great things but i cant remember them and i need at least a few minutes of sleep so i dont die at work.

The only thing i didn't like: Ryan Seacrest shockingly. Normally i dont have a problem with him, but he was very out of his element and actually wasn't funny at all and you know he thought he was.

BOTTOM LINE: This Emmy award show was the best award show in a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time. Next time Seacrest better be out.
