miffed doesn't begin to cover it.
so... i dont know what it is, if it's my PS2 player dying a very slow and painful death, or if it's just the DVD's i've been getting... but i swear to God, every disc that i'm looking forward to watching from a TV show always winds up being "damaged" or "unreadable".
prime example #1: when i bought the big Buffy box, the one episode i was looking forward to the most? Once More With Feeling. the disc it was on was the only disc out of the 40 in the box that was "unreadable".
prime example #2: just a few minutes ago... well, lets back this up a day... about a day ago, i just so happened to purchase one, Veronica Mars Season 1 from Best Buy for $20 (i LOVE sales at electronic stores!) and just a few minutes ago, i finished disc 5, and when entering disc six, the final disc of Season 1... what happens? my PS2 makes these noises that sound like it's etch-a-sketching my DVD, and it says "unable to read disc" or some BS like that, and i'm PISSED! im so close to finishing it, and it wont even read!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! (<-- thats my internet version of the scream thats bottled up inside of me right now.)
on a more lighter note, this will be day 2 in days i'm not working for either job. WOO! i'm more than thrilled. :)
