They don't call it drama for our calm take on life.
Joseph cast list went up. Yay I made it! I'm just in the ensemble, but thats exactly what I wanted. I'm not my best as a soloist (STAGE FRIGHT) but I shine in the chorus. Prepare to be blinded. (Man I'm tired.)
Anyway theres sooooo much drama goin on with this list. It really sucks that so many seniors didn't get leads, but I think that we need to hush up and give Nellie (the freshman cast as the lead) and others a chance. I've heard Nellie in musical theater, and she has a really strong voice. Its EXTREMELY different than Sami's beautiful soothing voice, but hey--maybe it'll be an interesting combination. New and different. And Jared and Matt Mooney have good voices. Anyway the point is that we shouldn't be antagonizing innocent people. I mean, I would have cast the show differently, but its not our decision. They were cast, they didn't cast themselves. Yeah, they secretly wished you wouldn't get the part so they would, but so did everyone else. The cast is the cast, and some people seriously got shafted, but what can ya do? Lets just make the best of it, and have fun! Cause I want fun! and I get what I want! well...sometimes.
Moving on.
*yawns* I'm so tireeeeddddd and I can't nap cause I have too much to do. Bake sale for Senior Leadership at back to school night. Anna and I have cookies. WOOHOO
