It snowed last night! This is what the area around Whiteknights Lake looked like this morning as I walked Clark Kent to work:
I kept waiting for the sun to melt the snow away, but it still looked like a winter wonderland at 1 pm when I walked back to Clark Kent's office with our tuna fish sandwiches. After lunch, Clark Kent took the afternoon off and we went to the London Road campus of the university:
After we bought three books for 2.50, we headed to town centre. Since we were walking from a part of town we've never been to, we happed upon this church for the first time - the most morbid church I've ever seen - for there are graves in the front yard AND dead pigeons on the window sills:
We bought ourselves some delicious short bread and enjoyed some hot chocolate at The Coffee Republic.
I also traced and cut 48 stars from red, green, and white felt to make a garland for our future Christmas tree. It's simple, but it still makes me feel crafty.
