A pretty good morning

Breakfast was nearly perfect this morning.  It was nearly perfect because my scone had a few too many raisins.   I managed to pick 17 plump raisins out.  I lined them up on the Winnie the Pooh plate in two neat rows.  We got these scones from the Asda bakery.  We also got a box of Twinings Fresh and Fruity teas.  I am enjoying a cup of blackcurrent and vanilla as I put Party Shuffle to work.  I shudder to think of anyone watching me dance to "No More Tears" by Sandra McCracken.  The thing I love about the party shuffle and shuffle songs features is they remind me of songs I've forgotten.  I am amazed how all the words come back to me.

The sky is deliciously grey this morning.  The wind's been whipping about since last night and it sounds like a hurricane, or at least a tropical storm, is brewing - such a comforting sound to a native Floridian.  I am anxious for lunch time.  As long as I'm not working, I get to make Clark Kent's pork shoulder and cheddar cheese sandwich and walk it over to his office.  We eat in the Staff Lounge and this week we're going to enjoy a midget bottle of Coke (we got 8 for £2 at Asda) and a fun sized Bounty bar (we got 10 for £1 - it's the English version of a Mounds bar - but with milk chocolate).  I like to listen to my iPod (in shuffle mode, of course) on the 10 minute walk to and from his office.
