1. I have only seen like 10 eps.. *shot* but i downloaded all 400whatever+ eps that are out and plan on watching the whole thing. ITS SO DARN CUTE!! My friend has begged me to watch it for years and i finally accepted the challenge... XD

Its amazing. I hope you don't have a problem with the animation because that is just a silly arguement. Yes, it is over 10 years old, but the animation gets infinitely better and the character designs are unusual, yes, but it grows on you.

I'll be graduating with my masters from FIT in May and hopefully I'll be moving back up to the MD/NJ area where I grew up. ...if I get into a phd program, that is, haha.

Sure, but I will warn you first...my dad just passed away on August 19 so most of my posts are a bit emo and I barely post anything fandom related ever.

I actually had a problem with the manga for years. The fact that it is all solid black ink really bothered my vision... My friend didn't really want me to watch the anime, just read it, but I recently decided to watch it instead.... and I have to say I love it so far.. XD I plan to watch 60 episodes a month.. Should catch me up by may.. *dies* & so far I find the characters rather lovable~ :D

Unlike other series', the One Piece anime is surprisingly like the manga. There are very few filler arcs, and the ones that are there are very short and often amusing.

OOO~ Well thats good to know. She said she heard from people who have read and seen both have hated the anime so she was afraid I would as well.
