These people need to start running cons in the States!

Why? Because of the guests or because of how the con is run? Don't you guys get good guests at Creation cons (I know there are issues with how Creation run things)?

Mind you, there isn't a SGA-specific con in the US is there? They all seem to be general Stargate cons with a mix of guests from both shows?

because judging from what I've seen, their dealers area is MUCH better than Creations, yes, they do get a very good selection of actors, and I dare say the cost is probably less. And usually they get maybe one SGA actor at an SG1 con, and Creation just has Creation merchandise at those cons. And everybody talks about actually getting time to talk to the actors, which doesn't really happen all that much at Creations unless you pay for the big bucks parts.

Don't know about the dealers.. I've only been to one Wolf con and I can't say I was hugely impressed with the dealers there. There was one small room and I remember being narked that the t-shirt stall (which had probably 100 t-shirts of varying designs from every show/movie/anime/fandom thing you could imagine) had ONE SGA t-shirt design (at an SGA specific con!), of which he had sold out of everything but the small size. >( The dealers are at least independent dealers though...

Pegasus cons do seem to get a great selection of actors so far and, from what I hear, they are definitely cheaper than Creation cons which seem to cost 100s of $! The Pegasus cons cost about $180 for a weekend ticket and that price includes a free autograph from every guest and, if you buy in the first 300 tickets, the meet n greet event ( ... )

Well, Creations cost like $400 on the top tier tickets, but now they're selling VIP tickets a few weeks before the con on eBay starting at $500 (and this is on top of what you've already paid).

You get free autographs, but only after you pay the nearly $400 ;)

And Creation isn't keen on chat. Want the actor to sign and the fan to move on...
