First, a brief: Apple Jacks with maple syrup on. So unhealthy. But whee, improvised candy, and whee,
substitution, and whee, sugar.
This evening I did another round of basically the same rice-cooker-random that I did last entry. Only, ++++++. Rice, 20min. Add carrots and onion, another 8min. Add apple and soy-sauced turkey, another 4 min. The apple and the onion were impromptu -- I only originally planned on carrots, but I went to get the carrots and I saw the onion, and I thought to myself, I bought that onion *for* this dish, I should use some of it. And then an apple was on top of the fridge, and I thought it would add a nice touch.
Came out a little bland, regrettably -- too much rice, not enough everything else, the flavor was diluted. Oh well, that can be remedied with salt and pepper and soy sauce and what have you. Also, the vegetables were a little underdone. Added too little water this time around -- fixing water might fix veggies too.
Yay satiety.
