I've been on my 2am-12noon sleep cycle for a couple of weeks now, and I really want to shift out of it. So far, the waking up earlier / going to sleep earlier plan has not worked. Bleh.
I'mma try phase shifting the other way: staying up super late, then going to sleep around 10/11am tomorrow, then waking up at like 10pm, and around and around, with a longer than 24hour cycle, till I'm back to normal.
Or maybe I could just pull a humongous all-nighter tonight. I do have stuff that needs doing.
If this fails, only then will I break out the melatonin.
