Something kind of eerily symbolic happened after I got back from U. Michigan Shipman-scholars weekend (interviewing for large amounts of money). I had an MIT pen that I'd been using all year, particularly on physics and calc tests. Partly because looking at the word MIT made me more confident, and partly because it was just a good pen and the ink flowed smoothly. I used it more than any other pen.

The day I got back from U. Michigan, it dried up. I threw it out and started using a U. Michigan pen.

An interesting coincidence.
