Eyeballs!
(Obligatory apology for the long hiatus. Pointful excuses do not exist.)
So I finally went and had an eye exam today. Long overdue. My eyes have really gotten worse -- worse enough that I noticed my glasses becoming less and less effective.
I made the dumb mistake of simply switching to my glasses when my contacts became less than sufficient. Bad idea, because apparently, *gasp faint*, your eyeballs change shape if you don't wear contacts for a couple of months, and you have to go through this whole long lens-fitting process. Which I will be doing sometime soon.
Argh.
