Argh
After a perfectly blissful vacation, I have been back at work for several days. I have four presentations at national conferences coming up in the next few months, half a dozen manuscripts to write, a thesis proposal for school that I really should have finished last month, and the annual inservice exam at the end of the month (that decides my competitiveness for post-residency fellowships). I say this not for sympathy, but to explain why I feel about as sociable as a pissed off wolverine right now.
So yes, I will be at Twelfth Night, but no, there won't be a new gown as that stalled sometime in December in favor of studying. My KASF pentathalon is kinda questionable right now too, although I'll definitely go and bring my Chalice project for display. As my husband likes to remind me, my hobby should not stress me out as much as work. Really.
