Arachnophobia {A Belle Series Extra}

So.  This was too long to call a ficlet, and it's more of something extra rather than part of the series.  It's being called an extra.

I wanted to try writing in the present tense again, and I wanted to try for something a little funny.  I'm hoping I accomplished the funny part.  Just a little.

I get migraines.  The aura I gave Donna is the aura

We get an influx of spiders in the house every fall. It's nasty. Especially the big Hobo spiders. :/

Ten tried to do what my hubby does. He has jars specifically to catch spiders with.

This was really cute. I like that you kept the continuity of Donna's migraines. Of course there would be residual effects of the Meta-crisis.

And I agree. Spiders are creepy. They have given me the willies since I watch an old black-and-white horror movie as a small child about a giant spider.

Keep writing more "Belle and family" stories!

Oh, and by the way, it was hilarious that Donna was bored to tears with listening to Gwen go on about Rhys! Although I can see why Gwen *would*!

Migraines being a residual effect does make sense. Worked perfectly to use here. =D

My dad kept an empty gallon mayo jar in the attic of our house in Arizona. There were black widows in it. I broke it. They climbed all over me. The hospital counted 200 widow carcasses that were removed from on me and in me. I'm severely allergic to spider bites now. And I really hate spiders...

I plan on writing more. And who wouldn't get bored of someone gushing over their spouse unendingly. =P

There isn't much worse than lying on a bed with a big bugger of a spider looking down at you! Yes, my sympathies are entirely with Donna here.

See my comment to serenityslady for my hatred of spiders. Also, just after I posted this, a stupid eight legged freak ran across the area rug and under the dog bed. I did get it, though with my slipper. Damn thing was two inches in diameter including the legs. >_>
