The problem with LiveJournal:

i think i've become a lot more comfortable in my own skin, less naive, and braver. i'm more willing to take real-world risks with myself now. i plan less, i set more reasonable goals for myself, and i think i worry less too. i don't give as much of myself to others as i used to, and when i say that i mean i refuse to give give give and get nothing back anymore. so maybe i've become more selfish, but i think that was necessary for my own growth, and i'm glad i did. i'm more judgmental but less pretentious. i'm unapologetic for my views, but i apologize more now for my actions. i daydream less, but i dream more, and those dreams are things i have the power to make real. i feel the weight of the rest of my life, as opposed to when i was 16 and living day to day.
as for how others have been affected, i'd say anyone who cares about me must have been happy to see me begin to blossom into an adult, and begin to interact with me as such.
