(no subject)
yesterday was one of those awesome days in which everything seems to go right. all my work was done, my printer worked, the weather was awesome, and my nature writing class even went outside for workshop. my philosophy seminar managed to be interesting, as did my early novel class (though that is usually pretty engaging). after classes i went to the fiji/theta bark-b-cue, a benefit event for the humane society, with my roommate molly, who is a theta. and they had awesome gooey reeses cup brownies AND veggie burgers. then we came back here, and i started setting up for the birthday party we were throwing my friend zhenya. when molly got back from tae kwon do, we went for a nice forty minute run, and got back just in time to get de-nastified before people arrived for the party. there were about seventeen people at the height, which is fine because we didn't register it, so more than that usually attracts public safety.we had pretzels, cake, punch (of the spiked variety) and beer. everyone headed out around midnight/12:30, and i went to bed.
today is the grad school fair, and jazz at the duck. woo! and i found out that friday my friend alice (read: ahl-EECE, not AHL-ice) is throwing a CREPE PARTY. WITH CREPES MADE WITH FLOUR SHE IS GETTING SENT TO HER FROM FRANCE BY HER FAMILY. this is contingent upon the crepe flour arriving today or tomorrow, though. if not it will just be a regular party, and crepes later. either way, i am so stoked. also, on saturday my cousin anthony is turning 21!!! and he's coming from his army base in kansas to do it!!! i am so excited to see him, he is bringing his new wife who i have only met once.
yeah. life pretty much rocks right now.
