comment on this entry and i will give you a letter. write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
i love leslie, and she gave me a C. so here goes:
1) Chocolate.
Ahhhh. First thing that came to mind, because I love chocolate anything. Especially dark. Yumumumum.
2) Cane.
The wonderful plant that sits next to me at this very moment, soaking in a bowl. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to make reeds, but then I realize that I really do like doing it from time to time, and if it really didn't hold me back so much from actually sounding decent on the oboe, I would have a blast doing so.
3) Clarinet.
The instrument I no longer play. The clarinet was a huge phase I went through. I really did enjoy playing it, however, my fascination with the oboe let me to quit it. I get fascinated with things and then must move on. It's just how I am. Maybe that sucks a little bit, but I think I made the right choice. Hopefully.
4) Camille.
The name of my first clarinet ever. Loved that instrument.
5) Casme.
The name of my Buffet R-13. Casme is what my great-grandmother used to call my great-grandfather (from what my father tells me). His name was Cosimo (as is my dad's middle name). There's a painting of him and we look exactly alike.
5) Canada.
The country I will be going to in a couple of weeks, provided everything works according to plan. Which it never usuall does, so let's hope for the best.
6) Conservatory.
The type of college I attend. Another one of my brilliant, totally on-the-cuff decisions about things. Hopefully it wasn't, as usually it is, the incorrect one.
7) Confidence.
What I don't have and probably never will. Heh.
8) Caroline.
My roomate from school. I miss you Caro =o( Everytime I listen to Metric I think of you. Although we had our moments, I believe I am a better person having met you.
9) Camera.
Oh, hope I love photography and miss it so. I guess if I did do it in college, it would detract from my practicing time. Still, I miss those days in the darkroom back in high school. Film, film, film...I lament the invention of the digital camera, only because it is injuring a wonderful art medium.
10) Computer.
Something I have, but shouldn't. It takes away from other useful things I could be doing. I am not in the best frame of mind right now, my brother is having a lesson downstairs, and I've already warmed up, so there's not much else I can be doing.
yay. hope you enjoyed that =o)
