sometimes i wonder what all this practicing i do is for.
but then...well whatever.
i played 3 hours today, which is good, because i finally made it past that mark. now i have to keep it up there and build up my chops instead of copping out all the time at 2.5. lol. i'm lame, but what can i say?
mozart sounded pretty and believable for about 20 minutes. which is better than how it used to be...back in the good old days maybe one trill sounded truly mozartian. it just has to be light and pretty and attractive...i don't want it to be boring and shitty. easier said than done. in any case, it was decent for a while. sigh.
minor reed revelation today? maybe, i don't know. tomorrow will prove if my poor handiwork lasted.
very weird...i think something sounds good and then i get a phone call that reminds me that no matter what i do, it will never be good enough.
