10000

Busy as always.

Still working two jobs, taking History of Western Civ 113 and 114. Covering 12,000 years of history in 6 weeks has been wonderful.

Tony's family (biological mom and her husband) are coming next week. Not sure if his little sisters will be able to come or not.

We're meeting with Sarah, a lady I work with at Starbucks, on Sunday. She's a photographer with wedding experience, so she's going to show us her portfolio. We're trying to get some of the little stuff done. Less than 13 months to go!!

We found Tank a new home. He was left home alone way too much to be happy since I started working at Starbucks. Plus Tony got promoted (yay!) so he works 48-53 hours a week. So Marilyn, who does corgi rescue, helped us find him a new home. His new mom works out of her home so she's rarely gone. She's had him for 3 weeks now and she's crazy about him. I know he's got to be much happier.

The 700 Club is playing in the background. Wow. Religion: the ties that blind and bind. I don't know.

I went to the Nickleback/Staind/Daughtry concert on Friday with my friend Omar. It was a blast. I wasn't that huge of a Nickleback fan (I was going for Staind) but they put on a hell of a show. I have a new respect for them now.

I'm sort of nervous about starting Block 1 in a few weeks. I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's intimidating!

Next month Mom and I are going to start looking at wedding dresses. I'm starting to get really excited. I can't believe we've been engaged for four months. Time is flying!

Movies I've seen lately that I really like: "I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry," "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," "Children of Men," "Idiocracy," "The Holiday," "Spiderman 3."

I haven't gotten to spend much time reading for pleasure. I've had to read The Aeneid, The Romance of the Rose, Three Treatises, and Whitewashing Britain for my history classes. I don't recommend any of them.

I might recommend Louis !V's Memoirs for the Instruction of the Dauphin simply because I think it's a cool title. That aside, it's misogynistic.

Okay, that's enough randomness for now.
