Joffrey's always puts me in a good mood. It's such a comfortable atmosphere with people I enjoy. Kyle's music is so agreeable with my ear, conversations are pleasant, the coffee smells rich and tasty. I'm glad we do this on Saturday nights. The final night of the week where I can just unleash and relax. I leave all my issues and problems at the door and forget about them while I'm inside. I let them tag along to Steak and Shake with me, but they're left outside again, just like a pet dog outside a hotel that doesn't allow pets.
Yeah, Allison, you're rambling.
Kyle's CD is great. Awesome quality. The mixing is incredible. It cleans him up, but it still sounds like him. So I can have a Joffrey's night every night now ... though it's not the same.
Chris came over this afternoon. I taught him how to roller-blade. It was pretty great. He caught on quick and we cruised around the neighborhood. One time 'round was good enough for him, so we came inside. Surfed the net a bit, Dad bought us McD's. Yummy chicken nuggets. We watched some of Top Gun. Caroline came over and we all went to Joffrey's at 8:30. I rode with Chris. It was SOOOOOO funny! We were messing with Caroline by changing lanes and she would follow. There was one time on 60, we were approaching a stoplight and Chris suddenly swerved into the next lane where Caroline was just to be in front of her. We looked in the rearview mirrors and could see her waving her arms in anger and curses (not ACTUAL curses, I'm sure, but mean enough) formed on her lips. Sorry, Caro, it WAS mean, but it was pretty funny too.
Man, I love you guys. You make my life worthwhile despite it's major downsides. Thank you for everything you're doing for me, even if you don't or didn't know you were doing anything. I can never forget the stuff we've done together.
We have to keep these LiveJournals forever so when we're gone and far away from each other, we can still keep in touch.
