Update on Amelia
Amelia is now five years old. We have been working on addition and subtraction with her. Her father asked her how many fingers she has.
She replied without hesitation: "All of them."
Amelia's favorite color is still pink. Her favorite show is still Peppa Pig. Her best friend is still Ari. These are three facts that have remained the same for the past three years.
She can write her name and she has begun to read sight words. She started Martial Arts class in the fall and enjoys going twice a week. She loves playing with dolls. Amelia likes to remain shirtless.
According to her report card, she is excelling academically, socially, and emotionally. She can count to 20, she recognizes all her letters, she knows all her shapes. The parts she can improve on, include "listening to authority" and "sharing with others", two traits that we find to be true at home too.
