I need your vote! (To support a future generation of marine scientists)
I need your vote on YouTube! All it takes is to hit LIKE on YouTube.
Two of my students in my Marine Biology class, Christy Vawter and Will Davis, have been selected as one of six finalists in a Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution competition. As a finalist, they have already won some nice prizes, but they are hoping to win the Grand Prize: An all-inclusive trip to WHOI to attend the R/V Neil Armstrong arrival celebration this spring. This will give them the opportunity get a special behind-the-scenes tour, meet leading marine scientists, and I think really spark a real love for pursuing this as a career.
