Hope it was informative! Again, not sure if this is (1) just customs done in my household, (2) customs unique to Malaysian-Chinese, or (3) customs common among all Chinese households.
I really need to make an effort to celebrate CNY.... we did nothing. I'm a little sad our traditions are dying but I don't exactly know what I'm doing. My parents' generation have also handled that stuff.
Ahhh, I need to do better next year. We're going to Chinatown on Sunday, lol.
I'm not very good at it either, I think I just pick and choose what I like? Hahaha! Now that Erika attends Chinese School, I feel like we are spending more time on a weekly basis being involved in the culture, so that has been nice.
