Thur 9/24: 18-month well visit check up. Mentioned nasal congestion/ear infection; no medicine prescribed.
Fri 10/30: Pediatrician appointment for nasal congestion/ear infection; antibiotic Amoxicillin prescribed.
Wed 11/25: Pediatrician appointment for nasal congestion that has not cleared in two months; antibiotic Amoxicillin prescribed again.
Mon 12/21: Pediatrician appointment. Begin 2.5 mL Zyrtec every night.
Thur 1/14: Pediatrician appointment. Infection has still not cleared. Continue Zyrtec every night, and start 2 weeks of antibiotic Cefprozil. Administer Benadryl as needed at bedtime.
Tues 1/19: First allergist appointment. Discontinue Zyrtec immediately, and begin 2.5 mL of Sudafed PE every night. Continue taking antibiotic Cefprozil, but if symptoms do not clear in 3 days, begin 4 mcg of Singulair.
Tue 1/26: First pediatric ENT appointment. Discontinue Cefprozil, and begin taking Cefdinir 4 mL once daily for 10 days.
