I have been trying to clean this house up after being sick for 3 weeks. Having a fun new car to play with slows me down a but as well...LOL
Speaking of which, I did my first mod on her today. I took out the useless snowbox as it restricts airflow. It was not as easy as instructed, but I am so used to that with all my years of working on VWs. I got it done and I love the fact that I can hear my turbo better now. I would love to upgrade her turbo down the line. My nozzles will be coming in a few days and that should be fun. I have read the procedure and feel confident. I am going to order a triple dash gauge pod, a boost gauge and boost valve next week. I am still saving for my Vag Com.
I also checked and cleaned all my brake linings today and found my intermittent squeal. I have a bit of a corroded rotor on the passenger rear. I may try removing the rust with a wire drill bit and if that fails, I will just get a new rotor.
Yes, I look like hell in the photo. I was working on my car in the heat!! Gimme a break...LOL
