I got a call from a recruiter today. She's going to submit my resume to one of the top environmental planning firms in CA. The office is in LA though. It's actually closer than my current office and my new office (that opens OCT 3- my personal deadline for quitting). So, I'm hopeful and optimistic. It is my dream job, and I am actually qualified for once. Besides, I just bought cute new clothes for a new position/interviews, etc. They are business clothes but cute. (Could I lose any more weight? They are size 2 and size 4.)
I spoke to Jillian via IM last night. It was a pleasant chit chat but I don't want to be friends with her yet. She wants to see me, but is only dropping the hint. She won't come out and just ask me. She probably knows that I don't want to see her. We have tickets to a Dar Williams show in mid-October and I don't plan to see her before then. I need to get my career back on track and don't need that drama.
