home again
Well, I'm home again. I never thought that I would be calling Long Beach "home" but it really is. I love it here. I wonder why so many lesbians love this city? Where are all of those lesbians anyway?
I've decided to stop running away. Since my career isn't shaping up to be what I always dreamed of I've decided that the next best thing is to establish some sort of life. I mean, what is life? It's family, friends, and work right? I have a job, but I'm sorely lacking in the other two. Since it's clear from my visit to VA that my family is not by my side then friends are what I must concentrate on. I'll try, but not too hard, because then that would be fake.
They will come. I just need to be more open to it.
