LET IT BE KNOWN

I HATE KEYBOARDING CLASS. IT'S USELESS.

BUT. I do get to listen to my Ludo channel on Pandora. I listen to it full blast because the teacher (who is white, but the leader of a predominantly black school club) plays hip hop shit. *EYEROLL*

AND I TYPE QUITE WELL, THANK YOU. More than 30 words a minute, unless I'M USING HOME ROW. I hate this stupid intro to keyboarding program. It counts off for mistakes, and it doesn't let you go back to make corrections! It doesn't even let you backspace. UGH.

But yeah. I got a solo in my choir class. It's very, very minor, but it is the first line of the entire song, so I'll be out there, at least. ^^;; I sing-speak: "What's playing at the Roxy? I'll tell ya what's playing at the Roxy: A picture about a Minnesota man falls in love with a Mississippi girl that he sacrifices everything and moves all the way to Biloxi. That's what's playing at the Roxy."

xD

It's really fun; I have to use a Brooklyn/Jersey accent, LOL. I'm Texan. xDDDDD

Its a great song, though; we're doing a medley of songs from the musical Guys and Dolls. I tried out for Adelaide's Lament, but I forgot some key words, so that threw out my audition. ^^;; IT'S OKAY, THOUGH. At least i got something.

Beauty Shop sucks this year, though; it's not the highest caliber of ensembles, but I like the music we do. We do retro American music, like the Andrews Sisters, Irving Berlin, stuff like that. But the Juniors aren't so happy, and some of them are acting far less mature than they should be. I think they should be grateful they're at this school, anyway. It really is a gift, and they're squandering it. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
