So I noticed that I hadn't posted anything since the summer and thought I would recap a bit of my life, more for my own reflection than anything else. This has been quite a semester. I've been living at 5 Eastern Ave in Noho with Jill, Jess, Ana Lua, Emily and fleas. That's right, we have been battling the fleas for the past four months. And they've won. We are all unfortunately going to be moving out hopefully sometime in the next month. We don't all know exactly where yet but I'm sure it will happen, it has to. We are just hoping to avoid a legal battle. Classes were alright. I took African American Women in the Civil Rights/Black Power Movement. It was not bad, interesting reading, my professors pedagogy was not ideal but I took it with Jess and it was fine. Finished my final a couple days ago, 12 pg research paper on Audre Lorde. If you don't know anything about her ask me, or look her up because she was a really amazing woman. Gender and Society... the easiest class ever that I surely would ace... but I didn't write any of the papers so i have to take an incomplete. I just can't ever stay on top of my academics. Training was my other class. It went really well. Loved it, learned a lot and am really excited to be facilitating GCD in the spring. I will be going down to Mississippi over spring break with Nicole. The teams were put together really well. I'm back in Stoneham now for about a month. I am working full time at MGH and will be back in Noho the two weekends I'm off. If I haven't talked to you in awhile give me a call or leave a message. Most likely I'd love to hear from you.
