had a delightful easter weekend and am now home with very sore throat which I blame on those abrasive listerine strips. CHOOSE GUM!
Spent Saturday with all siblings, nephews and parents. That in itself is a recipe for a good time. My niece Emma was kind enough to inform me that my butt was bigger than hers.
I plan on spending the day with throat coat tea and Pride and Prejudice. It's that kind of a day. It's soo pretty outside. Maybe I'll take a walk.
What I'm discovering about being married is the need to take turns. I needed to be pampered last night: my throat was burning, my head throbbing, etc. So Lore made me tea, brought me Tylenol PM and rubbed my temples till I fell asleep.
Last week, he came home late, grumpy and tired to a spotlessly polished house, his favorite dinner and his favorite beer. That's the marriage advice I've garnered from the last 9 months. Don't expect to be pampered all the time AND it's very fun to do something special for the other person too. Am I right, Lis?
