I have the coolest job ever.
Things swing full circle. Who'd believe I'm back at Righetti? I'm a substitute teacher actually employed in a job where I couldn't work without a B.A. That's actually what I'm doing right now. I'm at Santa Maria High School subbing for an A.P. English class. They're in the computer lab working on Crime and Punishment. papers. I love it. Yesterday I worked in Sugano's photo class at Righetti. I get to meet a lot of people, but I have to admit that I would probably go crazy if I didn't also work in an afterschool program for a low-income housing community.
My job rocks. I show up M-Th to help kids with their homework and play games with them. It rocks. I'm not going to say how much it pays, but I'm happy. Only problem, first paycheck isn't until April 10th. Still, I'm grateful to have it because I have a wedding to pay for. Anybody know a good Dj?
