Ask me anything

SO things have gone from bad to worse around here, and I've spent the morning alternating between fits of rage and crying and a state of zen-like calm. Those last stretches only last a couple minutes at a time. I'll write more about that later, but FOR NOW ( Read more... )

I picked the book up again this weekend, and I am AS WE SPEAK pulling up some more episodes on YouTube! Punk just went down for a nap so it seems like a good time to unplug the brain.

CorporalReyes on youtube seems to have them all, though one or two have some sound issues. I've found the third and fourth "books" (linked from someone's ff.net profile, of all things), but the second seems not to be available for love or money. :(

What's the title?

"The Further Adventures of Zorro" (which is of course eventually led to "The Erotic Adventures of Zorro" *facepalm)

I'm guessing you saw it's available as a radio drama, though?

Ooh, no, my Google searching didn't reveal that!

They also have a paperback listed for the book: I don't know if it's the original or a re-novelization, but it's there! IT INVOLVES KIDNAPPED BY PIRATES.

Kidnapped by pirates is good. ;)

It does look like it's a re-write, "adapted from a story by Johnston McCulley." But I'm not picky, I'll get my Zorro any way I can.

I have thought more than once that it's a darn shame there aren't really pirates around by the late 19th century. Because kidnapped by pirates IS good.

Oh well. I'll have to do something Colonial period at some point just for funsies. And pirates.

Somalia would tell you differently, but I know what you mean.

Too true. "Pirates I can even pretend can be fun", perhaps.
