I did a ton of cleaning yesterday. I think the hard water stains on the tub were plotting an uprising. It took almost four hours, but the entire apartment is probably cleaner than it was when we moved in.

I LIVE!!!!

I am back. Kinda. I guess. Mostly. Maybe. Who knows. Rambling. This. Is. Fun. :P.

Has it really been six weeks since my last update? Oops. I had that LJ Strike post, then... *silence noises* I disappear into thin air.

I get that trait from my dad. You can be talking to him, then turn around and he's gone. You have no idea how long he's been gone, but you do know that you've been talking to yourself for at least a while.

But I digress. From a point that I've never actually stated, nor had to begin with, so can one actually call it digressing?

I have accomplished greatness in the time that I have disappeared from this site.

- I finished all my ceramics pieces, they are glazed, fired, touched up, re-fired, and done. One of them is sitting up in the gallery in the art building with other student work. Total, that's four mugs, four cups, four bowls (thrown on the wheel), a starfish which looks much less crappy now that it's been underglazed and glazed (hand built) and a trippy sculpture made from three components: a cone, a cube and a sphere, which I constructed to perfection, hacked into bits, and reassembled to create said sculpture (also hand built).

- I finished my last essay. I use the term "essay" loosely, as it was for New Testament, strictly forbid using outside sources and had a maximum, a maximum of four pages.

- I finished my final response for my Plundering the Seas independent study for one credit so I could graduate on time about pirates and piratical literature. A total of three pages about buried treasure and pirate archeology today.

- I finished my Monster project for French Lit. in Trans. We made a monster, and made some visual to represent said monster. I used my Muse. The project turned out awesome. Pictures later.

And the big one-

- I finished my photography project of the semester: Romancing Lace. It's a set of fifteen black and white 11x14 prints mounted onto 16x20 red organza-covered fabric boards, all of my pirate character, Lace, from my NaNoWriMo Novel, Pieces of Lace.

I put them up in Maggies for a show for a while, took them down today, going to hand them in (officially) tomorrow, so I can get them back in time to graduate and drive home. Pictures of them on the walls in Maggies to come later, as well.

I will soon go back into busyland, as it's finals week and while I have no real finals (a Ceramics critique, a third exam in New Testament, and a three hundred word thesis outline plus a "You're making a movie out of one of the Monster classics we've read, how do you choose to direct, who do you cast, etc. and why?" for French Lit. in Trans.), finals week means Buyback at the Bookstore, where I work. Therefore, I get lots of hours, and if I'm not in a final, am on call. I actually like Buyback. There's always something to do. And because there's a bigger crew on staff at any given time, to cope with the large amounts of textbook selling going on, I get to work with people I don't get to usually. And this is my last year, which is a bit sad...

Which brings me to my next point...

OMG GRADUATION. I'M A SENIOR.
I HAVE A WEEK LEFT UNTIL I GRADUATE. I HAVE A WEEK OF BEING AT COLLEGE.
I'M SO CLOSE TO BEING FINISHED WITH COLLEGE.
OMG. WTF.
WHERE HAVE THE PAST FOUR YEARS GONE?
HOLY CRAP! I'M FREAKING OUT BUT IN A GOOD WAY.

I will soon, very soon, a week from today, in fact, at 10am, a college graduate: A Bachelor's of Arts in English with a Minor in Art.

*is ded*

Congratulations to me.

I don't feel egotistical saying that. It's a freaking huge accomplishment. *g*
