My room is a war zone... a pirate garb, camera gear and book war zone...
The uber-nerdiness continues- I bought Jack Sparrow: Volume 10- Sins of the Father because I read on the internet randomly that it had a ittle-bitty!James in it... and then I went to Powell's and promptly looked through it to see if it did, and if it was worth just standing there and reading, or actually buying it... well... I had to buy it. And it was $3, so not that bad. Admiral Lawrence Norrington (James's father) is such a bastard... and James is all little and cute and scared... I wanted to huggle him so bad. I still do. (Later I'll type up his parts and post them on the appropriate comms and stuff... but later, not now.)
It's part of the book-ness of the war zone I'm sitting in...
Rogue Brewery was awesome. I am now a citizen of the Rogue Nation, which basically means I get junk mail and .75 cents off my pints when I show the card. Tried the Chocolate Stout, won Gold in the Rogue Beer Championships. It was all right. I don't think you'd know it was chocolate if no one told you. Next time I'm going for the Shakespeare Stout, which also won Gold, and maybe the Mocha Porter, which won Silver.
Also saw No Country For Old Men. Wow... that was... interesting. I'm glad I saw it. I liked it. Don't think I'll ever watch it again, but I'm okay with that. Superb acting, but like watching a novel. All right, but damn slow. Rather read a novel that watch it. The spontaneous run to
Voodoo Doughnuts on the way back to the bus resulted in deliciousness, of course. How can a Butterfingering not be? Wanted to get the Triple Chocolate Penetration again, but I figured I should be different.
And I am tired. *snore*
