There is one thing certain in life, and that is Death. For some it comes so quickly we don't expect it, and for others, it seems like they never stop fighting. My Aunt Dorothy Brown was a fighter. She never let anything hold her down. Everytime I saw her she was in high spirits. I know I always joke about women being in the kitchen, but I'm throwing that aside for a few moments to speak about my wonderful Auntie Dot. She had the balls to fight back, and put herself through Law School during the 1930s. Her and her husband practiced law together for many years until his death (which I don't know when occurred, seeing as how I never met him). She had a huge family that she loved alot and always let us know she loved us. Despite having a very long and good life, she passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2006 in the afternoon. The doctors gave her 6 months to live after she was diagnosed with lung cancer 3 and a half years ago. Going along with the theme of "fighter", she fought through radiation treatment and remission, only to have the cancer come back and spread again. May she RIP.
