So.. uh.. I can explain. The rather impromptu hiatus happened because (aside from graduating and moving and being in the frantic process of finding employment)... I totally forgot what happens next in this chapter. XDD I forgot to write down my exposition goals and now I'm afraid I'm going to forget something and screw something up later.
As such, I'm regretting having started the story layout in such a linear fashion, because it will be ages until we get to the real characters and the real action, but I don't want to leave anything out. To help me combat forgetting what needs to be said and my own impatience for getting into the story proper, I have an idea.
I'm going to start completely over!! :D
...No. XD But I am going to begin the story proper at chapter four, and produce it simultaneously with the prologue. If flashbacks are required, they will be directed by links (aah the beauty of html.. you can't do *that* with printed comics ;D). It might be confusing, and having the backstory and the mainstory racing might result in me overrunning the expositionary buffer, but we'll just see how it goes.
