Not much new. Cardamom Trail Cake for last week was a banana and carrot cake that looks like any old carrot cake, but with added flavour.

Going on with my baking project.

Today was chocolate and coconut cake. 7/8 of it were polished off within 10 minutes of me announcing it was there. That and 10 out of the 16 jaffa cakes I made.

I decided (after polling the eaters) that I would alternate the savoury and sweet recipes, but next week being my work anniversary, they might get both.

When I polled them, my coworkers indicated that they'd like me to alternate the sweet and savoury recipes from The Cardamom Trail.

Found a potential houseshare, to begin with. The woman sounds so much like me it's almost suspicious. I'm going there on Saturday to see the place, and I'll take it if it's not a total pigsty. I may stay on longer if we get along and if there's space for my stuff in the kitchen ( Read more... )
