rain, rain, go away...
come back in october. but in the middle of september?? *gasp* not good.
normally sunny still in the high 80's, low 90's. as much as i LOVE the almost cold breeze and the pitter patter of the drops, the change of season, this is NOT the time of year for rain for the farmers.
the grapes are on the ground drying into raisins. the cotton hasn't even been defoliated or picked yet. walnuts are still on the trees. (my cousin's cash crop).

makes for an early winter, maybe. and a nasty flu season (already predicted). peachy! :(
and if that weren't enough, the past 2 weeks i've had snotty, coughing, feverish, diarriah-riddled grandbratlings, who made the hubbs sick. this week one has been barfing since yesterday. grrrrrrrrreat! just great!! >:-[
i have been sick more times in the past 12 months that they have been coming to my house, (because they always seem to be sick), than in the past 5 years after quiting retail work, while being coughed on by sick employees & customers!
ok, i'll stop whining, suck it up, drench myself in hand sanitizer and get back to this granny business.....
