first, let me say...WTF happened to my rich text mode?? it's just gone! it was there yesterday and now poof! grrrrr!
i was sick all last week because i had 2 mini typhoid marys here overnight. i was NOT told they were sick!! only that teething & allergies were bothering them....nope, not the case! had i have been told i would have taken precautions not to spread the fever...like coat myself in hand sanitizer and not allowed slobber to touch my body! by the time they left, i was hacking up fur balls!
the hubbs is home "sick". over the last couple of months, he had 3 'sodes, where he got very dizzy, felt very, very weird, and thought he was going to pass out. i mean seriously pass out. i told him his blood sugar was low, and i fixed him something to eat. it happened once at the gym and it happened again on tuesday. he still felt bad on wednesday too. by thrusday he left work to go to doctor, who said he has high blood pressure. stress related i'm sure (work, coworkers, politics, the sucking economy...). now he's on meds (he's not happy about it and not adjusting to, well, getting old) and sent home to rest until monday. no gym, nothing strenuous, just relax & take it easy. which will drive ME nuts!! the man, home, without a big 'project' is not fun or relaxing...for me!! that translates into me being crazy busy doing all kinds of crap i have been putting off...like cooking & cleaning instead of watching TV on my comp all day....i have an instant headache, better pass ME those blood pressure meds....
running off to cook some breakfast and disturb my friends, the dust bunnies...
p.s. dr. said hubbs is very healthy otherwise. strong, slow heart rate, normal sugar levels (which i find hard to believe considering how much chocolate cake, cookies, candy & ice cream he consumes!) doing all the right things, exercise, eating fiber, drinking his home brew, taking aspirin everyday, etc. blah, blah, blah.
p.s.s. hubbs says he feel much, much better after taking his meds for just one day. =]
high blood pressure,
sick,
