the fall TV season
it's pretty much been the fall TV season premier week. here's what i thought, without going into long winded detail (you can thank me later).
*in no particular order*
Castle: what's not to love about every minute? nothing, that what! every scene was epic. you didn't call, you didn't write, does she remember, doesn't she remember, does he know she remembers, or does she know that he knows that she does remember. oh my, i just made my self dizzy! you get it. beckett heading over the edge, castle bringing her back. the more she says she's fine, the more she's not...it's a known fact, women are just like that...deal with it. don't like the new call me sir chief (but after watching tonight's eppie, she might learn to fit in eventually). my favorite tag team, ryan & esposito in fine form!
H-50: WOW! now that's a premier! mcGarrett in prison orange, 50 disbanned, danno disappointed & heartbroken, murder, prison breaks, secret cameras, 50 up & running again, fast cars, fast guns, shaved ice, all good stuff!
Glee: disappointed and let down. that's what i felt. even with all the character development of last season, some of their changes felt totally wacked. santana selling out glee for sue. quinn turning to the dark side....listen up, smoking under the bleachers wearing madonna's borderline handme downs does not a bad girl make!! in a heartbeat i can think of ten things i could do to get that mean, don't FWithMe, cross the street when you see me coming, bad girl rep!
The Good Wife: let me say that julianna DESERVED that emmy!! in the premier, more than alicia's hairdo got bang...s! that scene with will was tsssssst! hawt!! love how they are pretending to not like each other, at all, any more at work to through off the gossip machine. i think peter is going to be an a$$ this season. i hope carry jumps ship. it looks like calinda and her EX might be able to play nice on opposing sides...or not. either way, it will be fun to watch them! i have to mention that i LOVE alan commings! 'but i'm your son of a bitch' hysterical!
Revenge: this one is going to be good! and not just because kyle valenti (nick wechsler), or madeleine stowe or GG's eric (connor paolo), or SCDG's bambi (ashley madekwe)....ok, those ARE good reasons! hehe!
The Vampire Diaries: gotta say, the premier was good, but not premier good. it felt way more like a regular season show. maybe the pace was too slow. normally this show moves pretty quick. there were some really great caroline/ tyler moments! good stuff between damon & elena. but way too much time on matt whinning. and we get it, you see dead people, jeremy, chop, chop, move the story line along already.
The Secret Circle: some of the characters are so far one dimensional and i don't like them. hope it gets better, because i love gale harold and britt robertson (from life unexpected). it could be as good as TVD, ok almost as good. it has that potential. i'll give it a few more eppies because i hated the first couple of TVDs episodes. LOL
Fringe: any universe without peter is not a happy universe. but i really, really like the two olivias working together, exchanging info to save the worlds. still exciting, still complicated, twisted & tangled. still love walter more & more. is it wrong to want to bring him candy and bake him 'special' brownies?
Raising Hope: i had dismissed this as just another dumb sitcom. thanks to halfshellvenus talking about it, i decided to give it a try (i could always use a laugh and i like martha plimpton). i marathoned season 1. omgoodness!! i LMAO the first 3 episodes without even taking a breath!! a lot of the comedy is visual, unexpected and happening in the background. so pay attention. cloris leachman is a hoot! she doesn't even have to say anything to be hysterical! yet there is this sweetness about how the family pulls together for each other. you must watch this show!
Sons of Anarchy: hamlet with harleys & tattoos! a show you can really sink your teeth into...(or is that just jax teller?). after 14 months in prison, samcro find their little 'charming' town has changed and not for the better. in the premier of season 4, we find out, bad things happen in prison....oh, yeah we already knew that. and even worse things when they're out! LOL
