Wildlife
Robins are beautiful birds, quite fascinating to watch, but dumber than hell. There is another nest being built on top of our back window, barely a week after we had the last one removed. "Hmmm, how about this spot? It already has the remains of a nest, recently destroyed by some kind of large predator. It's perfect!" And that's assuming (charitably) that this is not being built by the same birds.
The bugs in our lawn must be totally fucking delicious.
Accomplishments this past weekend:
* Fixed garbage disposal (was jammed with eggshells)
* Fixed vacuum cleaner (replaced belt)
* Fetched toys lost behind TV cabinet (which meant moving it -- it's heavy)
* Shuffled various clothes in and out of attic storage (baby stuff)
* Sprained my back
That last bit wasn't an accomplishment, strictly speaking. Fits in the list nicely though, doesn't it?
